A striking colour combination with imperial purple flames contrasting against the fragrant ice white tops of the petals, creating an explosion of rich colour during Spring. The oval, egg shaped blooms make fantastic features in beds, cottage gardens, formal borders and large containers, they also make an excellent cut flower and look striking when planted in drifts.
Interesting Note: Not to be mistaken with the ice cream of the same name when freshly picked blueberries are used to make a jam that gets rippled through a yoghurt based or banana ice cream. Blueberrys common in North America are often used in muffins and cheesecakes are of exceptional nutritional value.
