Solanum Tuberosum Desiree
Desiree has been a firm favourite with gardeners for many years. The oval, red skinned tubers with light yellow flesh are perfect for boiling, frying, mash and for crispy roast potatoes.
This heavy cropping variety with high resistance to drought, and good resistance to potato virus and powdery scab.
Desiree stores well and has a good texture and flavour.
Maincrop seed potatoes mature 124-140 days from planting. Late April plants will be ready Mid-August.
