Allium cepa aggregatum Red Sun
Red Sun produces high yields of crisp, white fleshed bulbs that are packed full of flavour. The thick red skin protects the bulbs and makes them ideal for storing.
This versatile variety is perfect for cooking, pickling, salads, especially around the Sunday roast or in casseroles and stews.
Plant mid February to April and harvest July to September, approx 26 weeks to mature.
Prepare the seed bed in advance and plant 3cm deep and allow 12cm apart.
