The cobalt blue flowers are heavily fragranced and make excellent cut flowers. Also a firm favourite for indoor pots and for outdoor rockery beds and Spring borders.
Once your hyacinths have finished flowering allow the foliage to die back and store the bulbs in a cool, dry environment such as a shed for planting outdoors.
When buying hyacinths bulbs for pot work or for the garden it is important to remember to wear glove when handling the bulbs as they can cause a slight irritation.
