This attractive autumn flowering crocus delights with its richly coloured lilac flowers with deep purple veins on each petal, the flowers are short lived, but reward you with deep red tendrils generally harvested for the worlds most expensive spice Saffron, the flowers are sterile and can only be propagated by division after about three to five years of growth.
